Instant seeks a passionate Software Engineer to supercharge our product ambitions.

Instant is a technology company on a mission to power the world's most innovative brands, driving their revenue and retention on autopilot. We have grown revenue 16x in the last 6 months, and want you to be a critical part of scaling up this velocity even further!

Instant is looking for a full-stack or backend-focused Software Engineer ****to scale our growing engineering team, as we continue to innovate, develop and maintain our suite of products, across Checkout, SMS and Audiences. You will play a critical role in conceptualising, implementing and shipping new features that move the needle on delivering value to our customers. We are a lean and highly performant team, so you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally, driving projects from beginning to end — such as leading integrations with our eCommerce platforms or channel partners.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• You are passionate, ambitious and able to pick up new technologies and languages on the go.
• You are user focused, passionate about building scalable, extensible and robust systems.
• You love learning about the pain points of our users, and crafting innovative solutions to solve them.
• In depth knowledge of software engineering, common design patterns and agile practices.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and are aware of best practices.
• Experience working with backend systems and experience with cloud computing services (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or similar)
• Knowledge of React + Redux (although experience in Angular/Vue or any other front-end framework is awesome as well)
• You love to have fun, and enjoy the fast paced environment of a high growth start-up.
• Bonus: Prior experience building SaaS products that have grown quickly and scaled to handle many users. eCommerce experience is also a bonus, but not required.

In your first 30 days with Instant, you will:
