Instant is building the world’s first AI-powered marketing manager, allowing ecommerce brands to run their marketing on autopilot. We generate over 30% of a brands annualised revenue today, and we’re on the ambitious mission to become just as important as Meta for an ecommerce brand. After raising $30M+ to date from Blackbird, Hummingbird, Hubspot, etc we are in an exciting hyper-growth phase, expanding the business by over $1M in new revenue every month. We have 4 products in market, entering and hiring in new global regions, raised $30M+ by top VC’s, and we want you to be a critical part of scaling this velocity even further!

We are looking for a backend-focused or full stack Software Engineer to help expand our engineering team as we continue to innovate, develop and maintain our suite of products. You will play a critical role in conceptualising, implementing and shipping new features that drive real value for our customers. As part of a lean and high impact team, you will work cross functionally, leading projects from ideation to deployment.

What You Will bring to the Role:

• Passion for working in a fast paced, high growth startup environment.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript in both frontend and backend development.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs with a solid understanding of best practices.
• Expertise in Serverless and cloud technologies like AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ECS), Google Cloud or Azure.
• Proficiency in React or experience with similar frameworks like Angular or Vue.
• A strong grasp of software engineering principles, common design patterns and agile practices.
• A user focused mindset with a drive to build scalable, extensible and robust systems.
• A product focused mindset with a love for solving real user problems with innovative solutions.
• Bonus: Experience building and scaling SaaS products or working in eCommerce.

In your first 30 days with Instant, you will:

• Conceptualise, implement and ship at least one impactful feature that delivers significant value to our customers.
• Be involved in product decision making from the ground up. You will provide design, implementation and execution input throughout the product lifecycle.
• Enhance our existing products by building new functionality, improving performance and refining usability.
• Deeply understand our customers, their pain points and how Instant’s mission aligns with solving them.
